Picture of a (bridal) treasury chest. At the back of the photo is the following text present: "Schatztruhe brachte Engel Elisabeth Sindram aus Urthe mit in die Ehe" This angel married a cousin (also a Sindram) which happened more often to prevent that the family possessions were too much parceled out! This bridal chest descends from 1536 and more than probable has been made for Vogt Hans Sindram, born around 1500 in Eisdorf. This box nowadays is in the possession of the family Ludwig Sindram Jr. of the Bährenhof at Förste, an enormous farm originating from 1303 and since 1833 in the possession of the Sindram family.
